Pres Nelson’s Gratitude Challange

 Pres Nelson’s gratitude challenge:

You are my joy, sweet girl. The older you’ve become the more I enjoy spending time with you. Especially when you’re clean and have brushed teeth. 😉

My heart is full of love for how grateful I am to you for letting me learn all that I have by being my daughter. You are awesome, kid. I wouldn’t trade you for anything.

Some sweet things I remember:

You have always tucked all your siblings into bed since you were about 7 years old. Even know, I find you doing it.

Always working on dance moves to the pint you’ve hurt your knee! All for the sake of dancing!

You swim in a fish! I love to watch it. It’s remarkable.

The Doners...

Tonight, I was tucking in Claire and she was telling me about the book she was reading:
Claire: it's a story about people crossing to get to California. The Doner Party. I've read this book 3 times, I like history.
Me: the Donner Party?
Claire: How did you know?
Me: oh, I've heard of them a time or two.
Claire: well, these guys didn't fair too well. Some of them died.
Me: oh yeah? Of what?
Claire: starvation
Me: then how come all of them didn't die?
Claire: I must have missed that part...
Me: ðŸ˜³

grades...

We were really worried about switching schools for you again. Johnstown was the perfect school for you. You loved it. When we moved to Katy, I chose a house based on the school with the best rating of school. We ended up not picking the right house for us. We moved to this new house about a mile from the old house and it has a much lower rating, but OH MY! The school  (and teacher) are a really really good fit. You come home happy EVERY SINGLE DAY! You love your friends and teacher, your bus driver and you're the best in math in your class after your crush, Ryan Christensen (from our ward). You are the shortest in your class and the second shortest in your grade. You have a special group for reading to give you some extra focus on reading. I'm really glad for that. I was always slow in reading until about 3rd grade where I learned to read really well and couldn't put books down after that. I hope you'll learn to do the same thing.

Your report card came and Wow! You have all A's and B's. You also have all "S" in citizenship. We are so proud of you.

Things that are important to you right now:
Barbies, playing outside, TV, treats, necklaces, earings, Grammie

What you want for Christmas:
Friend's Legos, Shopkins, jewelry
